October 5 – October 14

Travel to Las Vegas. When booking flights, “LAS” is the Airport code for McCarran International Airport. Early afternoon arrival is best. Upon your arrival, call the hotel for free airport shuttle service to the property. After check-in, a Ride America Tours representative will be available to assist you with collecting your bike and gear and to answer any questions you may have regarding the awesome days ahead. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to relax and enjoy your surroundings.

This is a day to continue exploring Las Vegas at your pace. Use the free shuttle service for the mile ride to the famous Las Vegas Strip, where virtually all the famous Casinos and Attractions are within walking distance of each other. Just be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Enjoy the incredible Fountains of Bellagio, the Pirate Show at Treasure Island, and the Free Entertainment at MGM or the Volcano at the Mirage, all the while enjoying the sights, sounds and dining that is Las Vegas. In the evening, take in a show or simply enjoy the Fountains At Bellagio at night. Either way, it’s an excellent way to end an evening on the Strip.

Today we saddle up for our ride to Williams, AZ. Along the way, we will visit Hover Dam, a marvel of engineering and built during the Great Depression. Hover Dam was the largest Dam in the world when it was completed in 1935. Leaving the Dam, experience desert riding on our way to Kingman, AZ where we will have lunch and cool off. Afterwards, we continue our ride along the Mother Road, Route 66, stopping along the way in Hackberry, AZ where we will visit the Famous Hackberry General Store before continuing on to where we will spend the evening in Williams, AZ.

This morning we head out, leaving Williams, AZ in route to the South Rim of Grand Canyon. Experience the Majesty of The Canyon as we make several stops for photo ops and viewing opportunities. Afterwards, we make our way to Cameron, AZ where we will have lunch before continuing on to Monument Valley and to Kayenta, AZ where we will stay overnight.

The adventure continues as we ride through the Painted Desert, across the Navajo Bridge spanning the Colorado River, around the Vermillion Cliffs National Monument and on to the North Rim of Grand Canyon. As with the South Rim, we will stop often for pictures and viewing opportunities. We will be viewing the Grand Canyon not only from a different vantage point but also at a different time of the day. Enjoy the difference this makes in the appearance of the cliffs and strata. Leaving the North Rim, we cross over into Utah where we will stay overnight in Kanab.

Today we travel scenic highways as we leave Kanab to Bryce Canyon National Park. The entire route today is over scenic highways as we ride through Northern Arizona and Southern Utah, stopping at Red Canyon and continuing on to Bryce Canyon City where we will stay the night.

Either explore Bryce Canyon, enjoying activities such as hiking, biking, ATV tours or simply taking a day of leisure, or take a ride along Highway 12, one of the most beautiful stretches of road in the country, passing through Escalante Canyons, State Parks and by Capital Reef National Park. Either way, you will experience an incredible day in Utah. We spend a second night in Bryce Canyon City.

After breakfast, we leave Bryce Canyon City for Zion National Park. Instead of looking down into canyons and valleys, today be prepared to look up at the gigantic cliffs that surround you as you ride along the N. Fork Virgin River and deep into incredible Zion National Park. After a visit to Zion Harley Davidson, we make our way along Scenic Highways to St. George, Utah where we will stay overnight.

After breakfast we leave St. George and make our way to the Valley Of Fire State Park and along Lake Mead where we will have lunch before returning to Las Vegas. A casual dinner will be hosted by Ride America Tours this evening in appreciation of you and your fellow participants. The event is always filled with good fun and great fellowship.

Following breakfast, checkout and return your bike to the staging area for reloading upon arrival of the transport.
Flying home? The hotel provides free shuttle service back to the airport with pickup times at least 2 hours before flight time.

Packing Recommendations For The Tour: When considering what to pack, make a list of everything you think you need, and then divide the list in half. After that, divide what’s left in half and you’ll have a list of items you might actually need. So, for this Tour, we recommend one set of “Street Cloths” a pair of comfortable walking shoes, personal wear, toiletries, sunscreen, chap-stick, riding gear including helmets, boots, eyewear, leathers, jackets, gloves, rain gear and both warm and cold weather apparel. Dress in layers. Riding gear stowed inside saddlebags and tour packs may travel with your bike if secured.

Excursions and Park Fees: Entrance fees into the National Parks and other Excursion fees are the responsibility of the customer. Customers should plan on spending approximately $150.00 for these types of fees.
